VIDEOS:

• Green Guerillas/Medics of the People: These films, each about 30 minutes long, were made by European solidarity friends of the National Democratic movement who visited guerilla zones and lived with and filmed units of the New People's Army. Green Guerillas follows the NPA's struggle alongside the indigenous Mandayan people against logging companies and for the implementation of a total ban on logging for export. Medics shows the work of a squad of NPA medics who provide free health care to the poor peasants.

• In the Blaze of Thousands of Torches: This film, about 60 minutes long, was made by the Kilusang Mayo Uno (May First Movement, trade union confederation). It is based on part one of Philippine Society and Revolution, the classic text of the National Democratic Movement, and is part of the basic course for National Democratic activists. It presents an overview of the history of the Philippines and the Filipino masses' resistance to oppression.

• Resurgence: The National Democratic Front on its 25th Anniversary: This film, about 60 minutes long, was made by the National Democratic Front and includes many interviews with leaders and activists of the NDF, the Communist Party of the Philippines, the Pambansang Katipunan ng mga Magbubukid (National Peasant Alliance, member of the NDF), NPA and basic masses and footage of the legal and underground National Democratic movement.
