Our Mission
Network in Solidarity with the People of the Philippines (NISPOP) is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting the Filipino people's struggle for self-determination and social and economic justice. We work to achieve four basic goals:
  1. To end U.S. economic, political and military intervention in the Philippines.
  2. To give political and material support to the grassroots movement in the Philippines for self-determination, economic democracy and social justice.
  3. To support fundamental human rights for Filipinos and other immigrants and refugees in the United States, regardless of their so-called "legal" or "illegal" status.
  4. To help build an international people's solidarity movement. We seek to build and strengthen the progressive movements in this country and around the world.

NISPOP uses a wide variety of creative tactics to achieve our goals. These include public protest and education, grassroots lobbying of policy makers and fundraising. We seek to build alliances with organizations that share our vision.

NISPOP supports the points of unity of the International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS) and has been a participant in the ILPS since its First International Assembly in 2001.
